The Question of Originality

Reading the book " The Question of Originality" really opened my mind, i mean it answered every single question you could possibly ask about originality. Who knew it could be so complex? For me i just felt it was pretty basic, originality is a persons own unique way of viewing and or expressing a topic. Well the book broke it down way more than what i could have imagined. I like it allot though because of the fact that i kept having the same views such as how amazing it can be to be able to reach an audience with just words. Words are so powerful and the way people express them and are able to alter somes' mood is remarkable. The idea that you can have one topic such as lets say slavery and many people have spoke on this subject for years and years yet the way only a handful of speakers expressing them inspired others. Martin Luther King Jr was one of them , now millions of people shared and spoke out on their view of slavery yet this one man's way of expressing slavery caused a big change. A change that gave him his own holiday and cause us to be out of school Monday. Every slave, every plantation owner .every activist had a dream I'm sure to end slavery yet Martin Luther Kings' dream was valued most. He  was original yet his originality was based off of an idea many people shared , ending slavery. This book and i shared some of the same values i liked it allot.
